To propagate Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion, and promote the international academic exchange and improve the efficacy and application of acupuncture, and widely spread acupuncture therapy for human health, 6th Shanghai international Symposium on clinical and academic research of acupuncture & moxibustion, sponsored by Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industry Office of Shanghai Municipality, undertaked by Shanghai Research Institute of Acupuncture and meridian, Yueyang TCM and Western Medicine Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, WHO Collaborating Center for Traditional Medicine, Shanghai Research Center Acupuncture and Meridian, Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shanghai Society of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, which is approved by Shanghai government science & technique committee, is to be held in Shanghai on 6 December , 2006 . Here is the notice.

Requirement of Articles:
The article should be written in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean or French.
A Chinese and English abstract within 1000 words is necessary.
The length of a full text will not more than 5000 words including abstract.
The manuscripts should be printed and posted with floppy disc or transmitted by E-mail.
The article accepted will be published in the collection of Shanghai international symposium on clinical and academic research of acupuncture & moxibustion.
The deadline for articles is 15th October, 2006.
Symposium fee
A. For the meeting: US$400/per person for foreigners( include welcoming banquet, city transportation, article collection, souvenir and city sightseeing)。
* The registration fee will not be returned to the absentees
B. The participator is responsible for his own expenses on accommodation and international travel
Accommodation Hotel: Galaxyhotel ,4-star class ( ), 900 ¥ / standard room/ day. Or1500Y / deluxe room./day There are other cheap hotels we can con tact for the participator, about 300 ¥ /per ferson sta ndard room/ day.
