    1.请求和建议的表达与回答的表达方式

    (1)练习下列对话:

    A: Would you mind moving your bike? B: Sorry. I’ll do it right away.

    (2)表示建议或请求的句式

    ●Would you mind doing sth.?

    ●Could you please do sth.?

    ●What about /How about doing sth.?

    ●Why don’t you do sth.?/ W hy not do sth?

    ●L et’s do sth, shall we?

    ●You’d better (not) do sth?

    回答一般有:1):Sorry. I’ll do it right away./I won’t do it again.

    2 ) :No, not at all 3) :OK, I’ll do it /them in a minute .

    2. Would you mind turning down the music? 你介意把音乐关小一点吗?

    Would you mind doing sth.?你介意做……..?常用来征求对方意见或客气地提出请求。

    eg: Would you mind cleaning your room?你介意打扫一下你的房间吗?

    (1)对此问句的回答,表示不介意,常用“No,not at all.”, “Certainly not”或Of course not”等;表示介意时,常用“I’m sorry,but…”,”I’m afraid…”或I think you’d better not…”等。

    (2)Would you mind doing sth.?句型的否定形式在mind后面直接加not, 即Would you mind not doing sth? eg: Would you mind not wearing the old jeans? They’re too dirty.你不穿那些旧牛仔裤好吗?他们太脏了.

    你介意把门关上吗?外面太冷了。________________________________

    Would you mind putting out the cigarette(熄灭香烟)?___________.

    3.They look terrible .他们看起来太糟糕了。

    look意为“看起来”是一个连系动词,后面常跟形容词作表语。常用的连系动词还有:sound意为“听起来”;taste意为“尝起来”;smell“闻起来”;feel“感觉起来”,这些连系动词可以统称“五起来”。

    课堂探究1、Would you mind 后面一般加动词的进行式,即Would you mind + doing.

    2、Could you please 是一种礼貌、委婉的说法,是“能否麻烦你……”、“请你……”的意思,

    更侧重“能否”及客观情况。如:

    肯定回答Of course

    否定回答Sorry, I can"t open it because the windows are locked on the train.

    1)you bought 为定语从句,修饰前面的名词pen.

    2)work可以表示机器、工具等发挥其功能,意为“运转;工作”,sth. doesn’t/didn’t work意为“某物出故障了/坏了”,与句型There is/was something wrong with sth.同义。

    辨析:annoy/annoyed/annoying

    1)annoy 作动词时,意为“使…….生气”,后面接人作宾语。

    2)annoyed 作形容词,意为“生气的,恼怒的”。

    Be/get annoyed with sb.,相当于be/get angry with sb. 意为“生某人的气”;

    3) annoying作形容词,意为“令人烦恼的;令人生气的“,修饰说明物。
