1.短文改错（共10小题，每小题1分，满分10分）

假如英语课上老师要求同桌之间交换修改作文，请你修改你同桌的以下作文。文中共有10处错误，每句中最多有两处。错误涉及单词的增加、删除或修改。

增加：在缺词处加一个漏词符号∧，并在此符号下面写出该加的词。

删除：把多余的词用斜线＼划掉。

修改：在错词下面划一横线，并在该词下面写出修改后的词。

注意：1. 每处错误及其修改均仅限一词；

2. 只允许修改10处，多者(从第11处起)不计分。

The day before yesterday, I went to the bookstore where is near our school to buy a reference book. It was Saturday, so there was many people. Under the help of the shop assistants, I quickly got the book I needed. I was about to leave while I found someone trying to steal a man’s money. Although I was nervous, but I tried to think of a way to help. Suddenly, a good idea occurred me. I stepped on the man’s foot on purposes. As expected, the man’s scream gives the thief a fright, who quickly walked out of the shop. After hear my explanation, the man smiled and showed great gratitude to him.

Last Sunday I witness a traffic accident on my way home. I was wandering down the sidewalk while there went loud crash. Two taxis crashed into each other about ten meters far away. I went up and found the two drivers bad injured, bleeding and trap in the taxis. Luckily, they were rescued on time because people came to help them and called an ambulance. As was clear that the

taxi drivers were so eager to take more passengers that they drove too fast. It reflected their lack of concern for the safe of both others and them.

My friend Dick was seven years old, and her sister Katherine was five. One day their mother

for a hour, and then their aunt took Dick into the kitchen. She gave him a nicely cake and a knife

bigger one piece to the other person,” answered his aunt. Dick thought up this for a few seconds.

Then he took the cake to his sister but said to her, “Cut this cake in half, Katherine. ”
