Section1
是 timekeeper，关于记时器的即钟表的发展,在古代用日光影子在不同地区由于经纬不同要不同设计,还有水漏,即用一个瓶子装上水沙向下漏用来记时,后来有用油灯的,根据油的高度来记时,当然也不
准了,好像现在还有地区在用还有火绳在一个凹槽中点火,根据燃烧的情况来记时。题型有：T/F/NG，MATCHING 和单选。1)-5)是 1~5 T/F/NG，有两个题是 T 吧。
6)-11)是 MATHING 四个方 法对应的相关解释和特殊点：A、 lunar shadow B、sundial C、portable clock D、candle lamp
12~14 选择（类似剑桥雅思 3 的某道选择题，选出正确的图表）；
12）问你哪个图是代表了 WATER CLOCK 的，我选了 A，就是比较复杂的那个；

讲了语言对工业（industry）和商业（business）的影响，有两种一种是 direct,一种是 indirect 的。 接下来讲了不同领域不同岗位对语言的要求水平不同，有一种经常作飞机的商人被详细讲了（有题）。然后还说了与 client 接触的人和一些管理人员要 good level of language skill (大概有 3—4 题 来自此)最后讲了翻译人员的重要，即使是多语言共存的 company 中仍然需要聘请翻译来处理一些关键事件，比如谈判等。并说了这种口译翻译应具备的素质既要有专业知识又要有谈判技巧和道德（有选择题）。首先是 Y/N/NG，有许多表示范围和程度的词如 all, most, especially 等要细心与原文 比较斟酌.还有简答题：第一题是问-客户服务，销售等部门对外语水平的要求，答案是 high level.; 第 二题是问公司里最先接触客户的员工，答案是 receptionists, elephonists; 第三题问的是对外语要求很高的行业，答案是 shipping; 然后是选择题，具体的题目忘了，好像全部集中在最后几段关于 translator and interpreter 在 negotiation 中的重要性方面。
Section3
是关于研究 65 岁以上老人身体各方面因素的，说现在老人得什么常见的慢性病如 bone 之类的在下 降，但是也因为环境的恶化，有一些病的机率也有上升，好像跟吸烟有关吧。然后分析老人健康改 良的原因，以及对健康有影响的相关因素。比如生活水平的提高，受教育的程度，多做运动等。题 型有 MATCHING，还有一个 SUMMARY。文章不难，只要仔细些就行了。
第三部分、写作：
Task1：澳大利亚和法国 1980 和 2000 年的 electricity production of fuel source。法国的核发电最多，而且呈增长趋势，澳大利亚的 coal 比较多，两个国家的天然气都有下降，其他的东西用量没有什 么变化。 （注意：小作文饼图不是百分比，而是 UNITS，有 5 个 PARTS：OIL ，NATURAL GAS， COAL，HYDROELECTRIC POWER，NUCLEAR）
